Dining on board The Q Train is a unique culinary experience. A restaurant on board a train, departing from the historic Drysdale Train Station, and travelling along the picturesque Bellarine Railway. Showcasing food, wine, beer and cider from the local regions.
The Q Train serves our seasonal multi-course degustation. A degustation is great way for restaurants to take their guests on a culinary journey. (A metaphorical journey – not all restaurants are on wheels!) With a number of smaller courses, guests can try many different flavours and combinations that, while being quite different from each other, all tie together as well.
This experience is a fantastic way for time-poor customers to experience and enjoy regional Victoria in a day trip out of Melbourne or if time allows as an overnight experience on the magnificent Bellarine. Never before has Australia seen a heritage rail line used for showcasing LOCAL food, wine, beer and cider. Visitors come aboard their restored carriages and enjoy a gastronomical journey unlike anything else they have experienced.
