Corporate Sailing

Royal Geelong Yacht Club Can also host an unforgettable team building event.

With a fleet of six one design small 7m keel boats, which are ideally suited to adult learn to sail programs as well as competitive racing, RGYC can provide a fun learning and team building experience.

Each yacht can accommodate up to 4 crew, they are fun fast and stable and are easy to sail.

We provide all the safety gear as well as an instructor on each boat.

Typical Schedule

13:45 - 14:00 Delegate arrive @ RGYC
14:00 - 14:15 Introduction and safety briefing
14:15 - 14:30 Boat intro and cast-off
14:30 - 15:00 Practice and basic skills
15:00 – 16:30 Short fleet race series (up to six races)*
16:30-17:00 Return to dock
17:00-17:30 Awards presentation and wrap up

Fleet racing is a lot of fun, and with identical boats, results come down to good crew work and tactics. With an experienced instructor guiding the crew work, short races in close proximity to the other boats is exciting and rewarding. Great for promoting teamwork and confidence
