SUMI Geelong
SUMI Geelong is an intimate Asian BBQ restaurant that has echoes of the yakitori versions of Japan. As a point of reference, SUMI means ‘charcoal’ in Japanese and SUMI is definitely is king at SUMI Geelong! In saying that Sumi isn’t in a monogamous relationship with Japanese cuisine; the menu puts itself about all over South East Asia. There are flavours and tastes from Thailand to China to Malaysia and even the US.
Their menu offers a diverse range of starters, bao, skewers, sides and bigger dishes such as half a snapper! A solid range of beers and Japanese sakes and wines has been geared to the chargrilled dishes and help compliment the unique taste!
SUMI Geelong is located in 47 Gheringhap Street, Geelong which is a 15 minute walk or short car trip from us here at The Vue Apartments Geelong.
Its open for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30am until 2:30pm & for dinner from Wednesday & Thursday from 5:30pm until 9:00pm and on Friday & Saturday nights until 9:30pm.
