Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre

Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre is open 7 days a week and is a significant attraction on Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, offering free visitor’s programs.

You will find the centre nestled amongst native trees, walkways & garden just a short 8kms drive from Vue Apartments.  Narana is a learning & education centre and offers visitors an extensive retail store featuring local artists, Cafe for lunch or brunch, a native garden, Art Gallery and Playground.  Add it to your 'things to do' in Geelong list for your next visit.

Open:

Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm
Saturday and Sunday - 9am-4pm

They also offer group experiences (min 10 people) - here is one example.

Introduction to Aboriginal Culture that includes

  • Boomerang throwing or traditional Aboriginal games

  • Guided walk through our native garden (learn about bush tucker and traditional medicines)

  • Feed the animals

  • Learn about traditional aboriginal history

  • Tools and weapons presentation

It is a 2-hour experience and will cost $18 pp.  There is also a fabulous Dreaming for Kids program (reception to year 3)
