THE PERFORMANCES

KEROSENE
STUDIO 4, GEELONG ARTS CENTRE
6:00PM | 13 & 14 OCT

Dubbed by The Age as “the first must-see theatre of 2021”, ‘kerosene’ is a simple and unapologetic character study exploring the complex, ugly and dangerous symptoms of love, as seen through the eyes of lonely, outcast Millie. In a tight fifty minutes, this solo work pays homage to the blind loyalty that accompanies lifelong friendships and the realities of what it means to grow up young, quiet and forgotten in modern-day Australia.

FEELINGS BUT COOL
STUDIO 4, GEELONG ARTS CENTRE
7:30PM | 13 & 14 OCT

A darkly dreamy live show about feelings, breaking up with your brain, ADHD, and interrupting the void. Margot Tanjutco was part of a recent surge of women diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood after strict lockdowns challenged their usual ways of managing life and work. Suddenly a life of chaos, big emotions, and alienation started making sense. Expect to enter a warped world where romcoms and slashers masquerade as each other in this solo work.

BLAKE EVERETT & OLIVER COLEMAN: DIG THEIR OWN GRAVES
STUDIO 4, GEELONG ARTS CENTRE
9:00PM | 13 & 14 OCT

Blake Everett and Oliver Coleman are two struggling shovel salesmen on the run from the Russian mob doing a show about two struggling shovel salesmen on the run from the Russian mob. Madcap, completely idiotic and glorious, comic genius catapults to the point of sheer chaos.

JANET’S VAGRANT LOVE
STUDIO 4, GEELONG ARTS CENTRE
6:00PM | 15 & 16 OCT

A story about love, loss and raising Blak men.
Come on a journey with award-winning actor, Elaine Crombie, as she presents Janet’s Vagrant Love.
With an original score, Elaine tells the story of Janet and unrequited love or lack thereof.

THAT ONE TIME I JOINED THE ILLUMINATI
STUDIO 4, GEELONG ARTS CENTRE
7:30PM | 15 & 16 OCT

Do The Illuminati actually exist? What’s their big secret? And can a 24-year-old with social anxiety, insurmountable HECS debt and a penchant for using their birthdate as their PIN somehow infiltrate the global elite? Featuring original songs, hilarious anecdotes, a fake ID and mediocre NBN, multi-award-winning comedian Lou Wall takes you down a rabbit hole into the darkest and strangest corners the internet has to offer.

BREASTS BECOME HER
STUDIO 4, GEELONG ARTS CENTRE
9:00PM | 15 & 16 OCT

Whilst everyone was growing potted plants and learning a new language in lockdown, Miss Cairo sat on her ass and grew a new set of tits. She will be exploring her relationship to her femininity since transitioning from a UK drag superstar to an Aussie cabaret trans ICON, singing a mixture of original songs and some classic belters, all whilst doing it with her boobies hanging out.
